With DiMarco not being able to hear the music she said, “I feel I have to change my way of teaching. I have to tap on his shoulder sometimes. They gave one of the top performances of the night. Tom Bergeron asked if he could hear the music at all or feel the vibrations of the song. DiMarco answered, “I couldn’t. He taught himself to dance by feeling the vibrations of the music. Vibrations from noise in the outside world confuse his perception of the music. Though his father passed before he was born, his family told him stories about his father’s dance skills and he thought, why not give dance a shot?
